Anyone that knows me in the slightest will know that I have always been Rihanna obsessed; since day one. Since Pon de Replay first came out till her latest album Talk That Talk I’ve been following her music very closely but recently, things haven’t been going too well for her. 

Back in the day when Umbrella was No. 1 there was no doubt that her music was great and every album she put out since has been a great hit….until Talk That Talk! 

Her music and personality recently has been possessed by sex and alcohol and less about good music! It’s sad really. After the whole Chris Brown beef you’d think things can only get better for her, and they did, but not for long! Rated R was musically creative but the new shit she’s been putting out lately doesn’t even have lyrics! It’s pretty much the same lines repeated over and over again!

On her birthday (same day as mine!!) she released a remix of Birthday Cake with Breezy! Admittedly, I like the song but com’on. Bitch really? You wanna release a sex riddled song with the man that punched you into next tuesday? Humph. That’s some fucked up shit!

And don’t even get me started on her live performances! A shambles. She can’t even hold one note!

I just think she needs to go away for more than a year, re-consider her position in my life and come back with 10 songs that I cant play front to back the same way I used to 2 years ago!

So in about 20 minuties, I will be turning 19 years old and I dont really know how I feel about this! Last year I was sitting here counting the minutes till I turned 18 so I could start to go clubbing and all that! This year, I almost forgot that it was my bday! 

I guess what you want each year changes!

A couple of weeks ago I went out to Central London with one of my good friends who I don’t see often! Me and him always have the best nights out whenever we meet up but this one time, I felt sorry for him! For this reason he will remain anonymous! 

So after chilling in VIP for the whole night it his 3AM and we collect our coats from the cloak room and hit the street to go to an after party. He had found a girl who seemed interested and so as his best friend, I keep my distance so I’m not 3rd wheelin’. I couldn’t help but realise that he didn’t seem very happy! Infact, it was as though he wanted an exit route and I couldn’t understand why! She was ite looking, good height, nice dress bla bla bla I thought he would be happy. I approached him and realised she was on his phone…SPEAKING TO T-MOBILE! Like…What bitch calls T-Mobile at 3AM?! It turns out that she had lost her phone in the club and was using my friends to cancle her contract! *shakes head* My poor friend thought that this could score him some brownie points but oh how wrong was he! By the time we helped this bafoon walk to the afterparty we lost her! Errrr, so you wanna be all touchy touchy and expect my friend to call T-Mobile for you and you wanna lose us?! Most girls just want a guy to get them a drink!

Now please don’t misunderstand, My friend wasn’t angry at the fact that she didn’t give him a cheeky kiss. He was angry at the fact that she made him call 150 T-Mobile, and more importantly, the fact that he actually did it. She clearly trapped him!

3 weeks later, he calls me saying he has nightmares about calling T-Mobile. Quite sad really.

Moral of the story, we had more fun when this idiot wasn’t involved. “Don’t tease me if you can’t please me”

This afternoon I was discussing with a friend about different clubs and what they each bring which led me to ask: What do people actually look for when they go clubbing! You must be looking for something in particular otherwise you wouldn’t go out of your way to treck to this one club you’ve heard about, queue up in this UK weather and pay ridiculous prices for drinks! Isit the music? I personally don’t think I can have an amazing night if the music isn’t great! Too much commercial and I might aswell have stayed in watching 4Music. Too much underground and i’ll feel lost. Could it be the opposite sex (or the same sex…if you’re like that..). If your a guy and you go to a club with girls looking like my back foot would it bother you? Would you turn to your boys and shake your heads miserably? For some people, it could be the idea of drinking. Yes, I know some people who go out to get drunk and nothing else! It’s as though you go out, planing on forgetting the next 5 hours! 

Ultimatly, in my opinion a club has got at have all of these things for me to have the best night! Music is the biggest contributor though. Period. 

TBH all I wanna do in this life is eat, meet some nice people and sleep. And if that isn’t enough then I might take up gardening!

So the holidays are coming to an end once again and unlike school and college, I can no longer look forward to a week off in February! It’s funny how this time of the year always flys by so this year, I thought I’d make the most of it. I took the time to see those who I haven’t seen in a while and sleep like a bitch in a coma! 

With the new year already in full swing, I’m actually looking forward to this year! Drake concert, hopefully getting a car, summer, holiday and many many more things to look forward to!
